The Texas Rangers won the dang World Series.
I still am not used to writing that sentence.
After being a fan of this team my entire life — from the years where they were terrible to the double near-miss in 2011 — and they’ve finally reached the summit. What a year it was.
So there was no doubt that my brother and I were going to miss the championship parade. Here’s a selection of my photos from just outside the first base gate of the old Ballpark in Arlington (no, I’m not going to call it by its other name).
