Chinese club team Zhejiang came to Texas to play what they considered to be the best collegiate volleyball team in the United States; however, the implications of their visit are greater for the University of Texas, who’s looking to extend its Longhorn brand overseas.

Meeting with members of the Texas men’s basketball team, which will begin next season playing Washington in China, Zhejiang head coach Wu Sheng talked about playing the Longhorns while Texas athletic director Steve Patterson talked about what it will do for the Longhorn brand.
